    From the age of 30-35, men begin to lose muscle mass at a rate of 1 to 2% per year. The fewer muscles there are, the fewer calories are needed for their maintenance. From the age of thirty, the percentage of calories needed decreases by between 5 and 7% every 10 years.<\/p>\n

    Another important change of age in men is the decrease in testosterone levels. Although testosterone levels fall, this does not happen as drastically as many people think. At the age of 35, testosterone secretion is only 5% lower than at 25.<\/p>\n

    A significant decrease in the levels of this hormone begins after the age of forty, when its production decreases by 10% every 5 years. At fifty, testosterone levels are only 60% of the levels of this hormone at twenty-five.<\/p>\n

    The physiological changes in men’s bodies are, in themselves, minimal. The slowing down of metabolism does not happen, and hormone levels and testosterone levels only decrease slightly compared with the levels of these hormones in adolescents.<\/p>\n

    The reason why the body changes significantly lies solely in lifestyle and eating habits. In most cases, men, towards the age of thirty, begin to eat more and move less, accumulating fat and losing muscle as a result.<\/p>\n
