Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is the surgery performed to reduce the size of the male breast. It can be caused by a hormonal imbalance or by an accumulation of fat that results in a bulging and unsightly breast.
Jaw or gonion prosthesis
Indicated for sharp faces and elongated faces. The implant is inserted over the angles of the jaw, widening it and giving virility to the male face.
Pectoral prosthesis
With this procedure, we manage to increase the size of the male pectoral by means of a prosthetic implant.
Twin prosthesis
Calf augmentation is a procedure in which silicone gel prostheses are implanted in the calf, in order to shape the legs and increase the volume of the calf.
Abdominal Marking
In abdominal marking, the main objective is not weight loss but abdominal definition. Liposuction technique is used for this surgery. If the patient is a candidate, a combined treatment with Morpheus8 can be performed, whose objective is to further adhere the skin to the abdominal wall, not only to improve the quality of the skin but also the definition of the surgery.

INTERVENTION
In all these surgeries, one day of hospitalization is required and the intervention lasts approximately between one hour and 3 hours depending on the size.
Surgical treatment of glandular gynecomastia should be with resection of the gland through an incision in the areola. Adipose gynecomastia is treated with liposuction, obtaining very good results with minimal scarring.
For prosthesis implants, the incisions will not be larger than 4 centimeters and always try to make them as inconspicuous as possible, placing them in places such as the mucosa of the mouth, the line of the nipple areola or on the back of the knee. In the case of the pectoralis and the calf, the prosthesis is implanted behind the corresponding muscle so that it is included in the muscular structure giving a natural appearance in the movement.
In an abdominal marking, the incisions do not exceed 4 mm and through liposuction, a depression is caused in the line of the linea alba and the three muscle bundles above the navel.

POST-OPERATORY
Gynecomastia is not a painful operation and recovery is quick, and the patient can return to normal life and work within 48 hours.
The recovery period for an implant is quite bearable. For a few months the patient will be swollen and with a strange sensitivity in the area that will gradually recover to normal. The patient will require a week's leave to return to work and must wait for a period of one month to be able to play sports.
In the case of abdominal marking, the recovery time will be proportional to the amount of fat removed. Sports activity can be resumed after the 4th week. The swelling disappears within 10 to 20 days after the operation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a risk of capsule in a calf implant?
There is no danger of capsule due to the anatomical site where the implant is performed.
Does the calf implant refine the ankle?
Not really, by increasing the volume of the calf optically it appears to be thinner.
Can a gonion prosthesis be easily removed?
If the implanted prosthesis does not meet the patient's wishes, it can be easily removed and returned to the initial state without aesthetic modifications.
What is the result of a pectoral prosthesis like?
It is a very natural result, if the right size is chosen for each patient and a good job is done in the intervention.
Is it necessary to wear a girdle for gynecomastia?
For both types of gynecomastia, yes, a pressotherapy garment will be worn in order to control the swelling and guarantee the result.
