She rose to fame definitively in 1998 alongside Antonio Banderas. Her latest role at the time was that of Isabelle Parradine, in which she caught the eye of Steven Spielberg. Born on the same day, they didn’t hesitate to defy the zodiac by starting a life together. Their engagement was formalized on November 18, 2000, by which time they were already parents to Dylan (named after the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas), born three months earlier. Three years later, their relationship remained in perfect harmony with the birth of their daughter Carys Zeta (Carys means “love” in Gaelic) in April 2003.
The Douglases live in a luxurious mansion in Bermuda, but throughout the year they divide their time between their residences in New York, Los Angeles, and London, their stunning country house in Aspen, Colorado, a chalet in Wales, and their estate in Mallorca.
