Plasma gel: What is it and why is it believed to be Biopolymers?

Warning! The trade name “Plasma gel” is sometimes used to disguise biopolymers.

We reproduce the statements of a Venezuelan colleague who frequently deals with the problem of biopolymers. He describes their use as a regrettable plague. “It is worse than cancer,” he says, “it is a chronic disease.”

Even worse. There are unscrupulous doctors who inject it into the “buttocks, genitals, pectorals, nasal folds, calves, and any part of the body” of patients. This prohibited material, which is still used, causes a condition from which these people will never be free. It can even kill them.

Did we write “even worse”? Well, we have to write it again. Recently, the use of a new term to hide an old reality has been reported. Apparently, some people use “plasma gel” to define what are still biopolymers. In other words, the name change only represents an attempt by these “criminals” to deceive those who trustingly turn to them.

Complications caused by biopolymers

Unfortunately, we know very well what we are talking about, since we are thoroughly familiar with the damage caused by biopolymers. Many people come to our clinics seeking a solution to a problem caused by others. Those whose practice is far removed from any ethical standard and who use these biopolymers knowing that they produce adverse reactions and serious complications that, in the worst—and not infrequent—cases, can result in death.
