On a daily basis we consume products that cause difficulty or reduced absorption of vitamins when ingesting them, or else their elimination. It is useful and important to take these reductions into account, given that most people consume at least one of these products:

Tobacco

Tobacco consumption causes a depletion of beta-carotenes and vitamin C in the body, in addition to producing other problems and diseases typical of tobacco use. Smoking a pack of 20 cigarettes per day doubles daily vitamin C requirements. There are several problems generated by tobacco consumption, among them general health, dental issues, etc.

Alcohol

This produces deficiency of B-group vitamins and vitamin C. Alcohol has several effects on nutrition, some positive and others negative; it is important to know them.
