The extreme thinness of the 90s led many women to become obsessed with weight, but nowadays sensuality is not a question of weight or curves. The most famous fashion designers (such as John Galliano, Adolfo Dominguez and Jean Paul Gaultier, and brands such as Gucci or Versace) have incorporated the robust, strong and very curvy woman into their latest fashion shows and collections.

- Tara Lynn. One of the most sought-after models. After overcoming an obsession with thinness that made her lose a large number of kilos in a very short time and that brought her physical and mental consequences, she decided to return to her usual weight. In the pages of the French edition of Elle magazine she was seen naked and sexy, looking splendid with a very confident attitude.
- Crystal Renn. She was born in the USA and was discovered at the age of 14 in her hometown by a “coolhunter”. Her life became dark because of her eagerness to lose weight: she lost her hair and her mood changed. She is 24 years old, very happy with her size 46, and works for the most famous agency in the world, Ford.
- Jordan Tesfay. She was on the cover of MODE magazine, she is 30 years old, and as she herself states on her website: “We can change the idea of what a perfect body is and create a new standard of beauty”.
- Johanna Dray. She is French and became famous in 2006 with the designer Galliano. She now designs plus-size clothing.
- Sophie Dahl. At 1.80 m tall and almost 90 kilos, she was a pioneer in establishing “real” beauty. A muse for great photographers, she stood out in campaigns for Versace, McQueen, Cox, Banana Republic and Godiva, and in magazines such as Harper´s Bazaar, Vogue and Elle.
- Kate Dillon. Very beautiful, she worked for the brands Gucci, Rossellini and Nine West and stood out in many editions of MODE and Vogue.
- Natalie Laughlin. For more than 10 years she has been part of the Ford Models staff -in Miami- after having suffered disorders related to her image and her body.
